Berry Hill RFC Junior Section Tour 2008

 

9th - 12th May 2008 at Kiln Park holiday park Tenby (Haven Site)

 

Well what can be said about the tour. For those that were unable to attend you missed out on a memorable weekend.

 

The weather could not have been better !!!

 

Most people travelled down on the Friday afternoon and got themselves checked in and mossied on across to the entertainments centre to make sure the were fully re-freshed and ready for a full on weekend.

 

Saturday was a glorious day with virtually everyone spending a fair part of the day on the beach. Okay there were one or two minor injuries relating to kicking rocks instead of the football etc and a few case of sunburn!!! But all in all the day was a success.

 

Lester ..... you should know better at your age, and we wish you speedy recovery and hope that the operation get's you fully fit, so is that 1-0 to Spike ?

 

Saturday evening was the traditional Fancy Dress competition and it was great to see so many people dressing up and entering in to the spirit of things.

 

Sunday, another glorious day and rugby was on tap !!!

 

The Under 8s won one and lost one, well done to them.

The Under 9s won their match

As did the Under 12s

The Under14s played a brilliant match and were unlucky to lose, however they had players from the U13s and u12s age groups which may have given Tenby the edge.
