25 Feb 2007 - Berry Hill vs Bream

3 matches were played on this fixture, firstly both clubs put out strong teams, and the match was a closely fought event with tries being scored at both ends.

By half time Bream had the slight edge, leading 4 tries to 3. But after a quick team talk and a spot of liquid refreshment Berry Hill came out ready for a fast and furious second half.

Berry Hill took  some well worked tries and the lead which they held until the dying breaths of the game, Bream refused to lie down and scored an equalising try with the final play of the game.

The final result was a well fought 8 tries apiece draw.

Match 2 saw the Berry Hill minis come on to the field. Although small in stature they played a hard fought match. Running was fast and passing from player to player opened up the field.

For Bream it was the result they were looking for, despite having already played a match they ran out the winners by 5 tries to 3. The Berry Hill minis although fresh in the leg were unable to take the upper hand, however the result was very admirable considering the age gap between the Berry Hill and Bream teams.

Game 3 was an interesting affair with Bream running out the eventual winners 5 tries to 2. Bream's fittness levels held up and they showed some superb running on the outside. Clearly they had the upper hand even though there was a concerted fight back from Jordon Overthrow and Rohan Parry , both of whom showed some fancy foot work with fine running up the touch line.
